Welcome, my name is Seth King, and I am a Physician Assistant having specialized in Orthopedic Surgery with extensive experience in the operative setting closing and managing wound closure. My medical training was completed at the University of Kentucky. My current practice, Western Kentucky Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Associates, is in Bowling Green, KY, the proud home of the Corvette. I have also been fortunate to be a consultant with Ethicon in their effort to further educate the medical community about new technologies and practices for optimizing our approach to wound closure. It is my great honor to bring you this presentation on wound closure, and exploring the various aspects that must be taken into consideration within the pre-, intra, and post-operative care of our surgical wounds and how to improve our patient's outcome.
