Sylvain "Syl" Trepanier, DNP, RN, CENP, FAAN, FAONL, is Providence's System Chief Nurse Executive, representing nursing practice for 38 thousand nurses in 52 hospitals and 1000+ clinics in seven states. Dr. Trepanier is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and a Fellow of the American Organization of Nursing Leadership (AONL). He is also an assistant professor for Texas Tech University Health Science Center in the Master’s in Nursing Administration program. He represents the nursing profession on multiple national and international boards:
1. Chair of The American Hospital Association's Clinical Leadership Committee,
2. Chair elect of the Board of Trustees for TrueMerit,
3. Board of Trustees for OpusVi, and
5. The Audit & Risk Committee for the American Academy of Nursing.
