Overview/Abstract: In the fast-paced, high-stakes environment of the operating room, standing still is not a safe choice—it’s the greatest risk of all. The challenges we face—emerging technologies, workforce pressures, rising patient expectations, and complex systems—demand bold action and courageous leadership.
This keynote presentation will explore why the status quo is no longer sustainable and how perioperative nurses can lead the charge in driving meaningful change. Through compelling stories, real-world examples, and practical strategies, we will examine how courage, conviction, and a willingness to embrace uncertainty can transform care delivery and improve patient outcomes.
Participants will be challenged to look beyond familiar routines, confront barriers to progress, and step into their role as change agents. By the end of this session, attendees will not only understand why change is imperative but will leave inspired and empowered to champion innovation and lead their teams through the complex transitions ahead.
