I graduated from Adelphi University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. During my capstone rotation in nursing school, I was able to rotate in the main operating room at NYU Langone Health Long Island Hospital. After I graduated, I was able to take part in the operating room fellowship program at NYU Langone Health Long Island Hospital. For 4 years, I worked night and day shifts scrubbing and circulating different specialties, including general, gynecology, orthopedics, plastics, vascular, thoracic and robotic surgery.
Currently, I am an intra-operative registered nurse working in the operating room at NewYork- Presbyterian Queens Hospital. It has been 4 years since I've first started working at this hospital. My service specialties are vascular, thoracic and cardiac surgery. I became a certified nurse of the operating room in March 2024. I am both BLS and ACLS certified as well. I am a member of the Patient Experience Committee at NYPQ. I enjoy precepting new nurses that join our OR, being able to provide them with information and knowledge on skills they can use during their daily work experiences.
