Rizza St Louis' journey in healthcare began with an Associate in Applied Science in Surgical Technology from Nassau Community College. After graduation, she joined NYU Langone Long Island, where she worked as a Certified Surgical Technologist for ten years. During this time, she gained comprehensive experience across a wide range of patient population and specialties, including bariatrics, pediatrics, general surgery, urology, ENT, plastics, neurosurgery, and orthopedics.
Motivated by a deep passion for patient care and continuous professional development, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Molloy University. She then transitioned into the role of Registered Nurse, continuing to serve in the operating room and applying her surgical expertise in a new capacity.
Currently, she serves as a Staff Educator for Perioperative Services at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. In this role, she is committed to mentoring and training Preop Holding, Operating Room and Post Anesthesia Care Unit staff, promoting excellence in surgical care, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Her career reflects a steadfast commitment to advancing healthcare through education, hands-on experience, and compassionate care.
