Kenny Worley, BSN, RN, CNOR, began his healthcare career in 1977 as an orderly, EMT, and paramedic. After receiving his ADN from the University of New York in Albany, he worked in the Emergency Department and in the OR as Staff Nurse and moved up to the Director of Surgical Services. With over 30 years of perioperative nursing experience, he is currently employed at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock as the Director of Value Analysis. Kenny continues to be very engaged with peri-operative services in his role in value analysis. Kenny is an active member of AORN and has served the Central Arkansas Chapter as President Elect, President, Vice President, Board Member, and State Legislative Coordinator, as well as planning committee for the chapter’s annual Summer Conferences. Kenny has served nationally as volunteer in the planning of AORN EXPO educational proposals and is the Chair of the Leadership Specialty Assembly. His professional associations include AORN, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Association of Heath Value Analysis Professionals (AHVAP) and Society for Arkansas Healthcare Purchasing & Materials Management (SAHPMM). He received his BSN from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in December 2016.
