Falynn Dow contributes to the development of perioperative nurses. She began her nursing career in the operating room within a hospital system in the Texas Medical Center. Focusing on orthopedic and sports medicine surgical specialties, she became a lead resource and circulating nurse, in addition to a competent scrub partner. After refining her circulating, scrubbing, precepting, and leadership skills within the hospital for ten years, new opportunities arose to join SCA Health as a Manager of Clinical Education and Training. Currently, Falynn is supporting and facilitating a perioperative OR nurse development program for nurses working in the ASC environment. She has a passion for teaching, promoting patient safety, and being an advocate for patients & teammates.
