I am an experienced nurse with a passion for education. I previously presented at the 2023 AORN Global Surgical Conference in San Antonio. My colleague, Tiffany Minor and I discussed creating the culture you desire in the ambulatory surgical center setting. We focused our presentation on communication, accountability, professionalism and conservation of resources. This was a wonderful experience, and I would like to expand on it by returning to discuss the challenges and rewards of working in pediatric ambulatory surgery.
