Stefanie just completed her first year as a Perioperative Nurse Educator at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She attained her Master of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH in 2011. Prior to joining the education team, she spent 11 years as an operating room nurse in various outpatient and inpatient settings across the country from Florida to Washington State. She has always enjoyed working in the OR environment and getting to be a part of the amazing teamwork that occurs there. Now, her favorite aspects of the education role are: 1) working to address the questions and concerns voiced by the OR staff and 2) collaborating with other educators to create engaging teaching materials.
