Char is a champion for patient safety and engaging nurses entering into perioperative practice. Guglielmi has published articles and book chapters and has given multiple presentations on the regional, national and international levels. She was AORN President (2010/2011) and is currently member pf the AORN Foundation Board of Trustees. She received the 2015 AORN President’s Award, the 2001 AORN Award for Outstanding Achievement in Perioperative Clinical Practice and the 2019 recipient of the AORN Award for Excellence. She is an AORN Fellow.
