M.Tracey Penaloza, MSN, RN, CNOR is the Vice President of Surgical Services at Mercy Medical Center. With a Master’s degree in Nursing Informatics from the University Of Maryland: School Of Nursing she provides transformational and strategic leadership for the Perioperative Services department. She has served on the national board of the Association for perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN). She has been a co-coordinator and co-developer of apprenticeship program development between University of Maryland Medical Center and Baltimore Alliance for Careers in Healthcare (2017-2019). In addition to her leadership and clinical experience, in 2023 she has been recognized by Baltimore Magazine as one of the Excellence in Nursing Leadership award winners and in 2018 She was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Perioperative Nursing Management by AORN.
