Dr. Natalie Jones is a health care leader with over 40+ years of committed service as a Registered Nurse, Perioperative Director, and Administrator. Her interests include mentoring new leaders, staff development, patient safety, and advancements in new technology, promoting evidence-based outcomes. As Director of Perioperative Services/Nurse Consultant at NBJ Healthcare Consulting and Management Company, she has established a proven track record in her ability to successfully lead and direct patient care services and drive innovation.
Dr. Jones is a transformational leader with experience in world-renowned Academic and Magnet Healthcare Organizations. As a healthcare leader, she provides strategic leadership and operational oversight, directs renovation projects, and works with executive leadership and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate quality patient care and planned objectives. Dr. Jones is a member of AORN South Florida Chapter 1004 and served as President, President-Elect, and Board Member from 2005-2020, Treasurer (2020 – 2024), Vice President (2022-2025), and currently serves as chapter President (2025-2026). She served as a member of the AORN National Nominating Committee (2023-2025) and chair of the national nominating committee (2024 – 2025). She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Florida Council of Perioperative Registered Nurses (FCORN). She served as an active member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) and the Florida Organization of Nurse Executives (FONE). She received an Associate Degree in Nursing, a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration and Nursing, a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and a Doctorate Degree in Health Care Administration.
Her academic studies in leadership, business management, and health care administration have helped to further enhance her knowledge and advance her personal and professional skills. As an associate faculty member in the Doctoral Healthcare Administration Program at the University of Phoenix, she enjoys mentoring and helping to cultivate future healthcare leaders.
