Maura Cash, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, is the Manager of Transition to Practice at Kootenai Health and has 19 years of healthcare experience. She began her career in the medical-surgical specialty before moving into education and leadership roles. Today, Maura leads various programs designed to help nurses grow and thrive, such as nurse residency, internship, and mentorship. One of her proudest achievements came in 2022 when the nurse residency program she oversees earned PTAP Accreditation with Distinction. She is passionate about fostering a supportive and structured environment for nurses as they transition into practice, advocating for both professional growth and high-quality patient care.
