Perinatal Clinical Nurse Specialist

Amanda Freedman has been practicing in obstetrics for 28 years. She has served as a perinatal Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) for the last 19 years. She has had multiple podium presentations at local, regional, state and international conferences. In 2010, she was recognized as one of the Great 100 Nurses of North Carolina. Amanda has served as the North Carolina president for both the OB and CNS organizations and during her leadership, she re-vamped both organizations with record highs of attendance. Amanda has worked collaboratively with surgical services over many years of her career and is passionate improving the quality of patient care and making an impact at the organizational level.
