Dr. Tracie White is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Acute, Chronic, and Continuing Care at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing. She currently serves as the Distance Simulation Coordinator and RN First Assistant (RNFA) Subspecialty Coordinator. In these roles, she assists in the development and implementation of innovative simulation-based learning experiences and advanced nursing curricula to prepare students for clinical excellence. Clinically, she has an extensive background as an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse First Assistant in the Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery at UAB Hospital, where she provided advanced perioperative and acute care services.
