Director, Perioperative Nursing Course

LTC Jesse Michael Hartmann has been assigned to Madigan Army Medical Center as the Director of the Perioperative Nursing course since July 2023. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Colorado State University-Pueblo and directly commissioned into the Army Nurse Corps. He received his Doctor of Nursing Practice as an Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist from Uniformed Services University in May 2023.
Prior to his assignment at Madigan, LTC Hartmann served as the Operative Services Director at Tripler Army Medical Center, HI; CNOIC of Sterile Processing Department at Weed Army Community Hospital, CA; CNOIC of the Operating Room 47th Combat Support Hospital, Iraq; Perioperative staff nurse Tripler, HI; Staff nurse inpatient neurosurgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C.
LTC Hartmann is board certified as an Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist, with a focus in the Perioperative setting. He also holds his Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR), Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM), and Certified Ambulatory Surgery Nurse (CNAMB).
