Perioperative Clinical Nurse Specialist

MAJ Gina Eberhardt has been assigned to Madigan Army Medical Center as a Perioperative Clinical Nurse Specialist since July 2024. A native of California, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Fresno and then directly commissioned into the Army Nurse Corps. She received a Master's Degree in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University in 2017, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice as an Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist from Uniformed Services University in May 2024.
Prior to her assignment as the Perioperative CNS at Madigan, MAJ Eberhardt served as the Clinical Nurse Officer in Charge (CNOIC) of the Operating room at Madigan, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA; CNOIC of Sterile Processing Department of Keller Army Community Hospital and staff nurse of the Keller OR, West Point, NY; staff nurse and Service Nurse in charge of Transplant and Pediatric Surgical Services at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, MD; staff nurse and charge nurse of inpatient Med/Surg at Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, HI.
MAJ Eberhardt is board certified as an Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist, with a focus in the Perioperative setting. She also holds her Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
