Susan has been a registered nurse for 19 years. She earned her RN degree from Penn State University in 2006. She began her career in the operating room at a local trauma hospital in Pennsylvania. During her time at this hospital, she worked not only in the operating room but also in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and the Orthopedic Joint Unit. Susan is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to her patients and their families, which she has witnessed in the surgical environment.
She spent a year serving as the administrator of a local surgery center until a new nursing opportunity opened in the surgical field. Susan loves working in the surgical setting and hopes to continue in this role until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoys camping with her family and walking her dogs.
