Ashlea Richmond, MBA, BSN, RN, CNOR, is currently an Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist (AGCNS) Resident at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. With 17 years of nursing experience in the United States Army, she has held diverse perioperative roles, including staff nurse, GYN and vascular service nurses, charge nurse, and head nurse of both SPD and the OR, spanning 14 years. Her current DNP project focuses on implementing an evidence-based compliance bundle for surgical smoke evacuation.
