Assistant Nurse Manager
UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center
I’ve been a nurse since 2008, after earning my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hartwick College. I later completed my Master of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University, where I was honored to be inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. I’m currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice at Chamberlain, with plans to graduate in September 2025.
Much of my nursing career was spent at Massachusetts General Hospital, where I gained extensive experience in cardiac, surgical critical care, and intra-operative nursing. After completing my MSN, I moved to California and now serve as a Nurse Manager in the Operating Room at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center.
My DNP project focuses on improving staff satisfaction through the implementation of Nursing Grand Rounds. This initiative was designed to increase learning opportunities, enhance employee engagement, and foster professional collaboration within the perioperative setting.
I’m passionate about advancing perioperative nursing through evidence-based practice, leadership, and team development.
