Ricardo Melo. He completed his PhD in Nursing Sciences on 12 June 2017 at the University of Porto's Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences and his Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 2007 at the University of Aveiro's Aveiro School of Health. He is an Assistant Professor at the Porto School of Nursing and a Researcher at the Health Sciences Research Unit: Nursing. He worked as a nurse at the Gaia/Espinho Local Health Unit, in the context of surgical hospitalisation. He has published several articles in specialised and indexed journals, both national and international. He has collaborated in several scientific events, both in their organisation and in the scientific committee. He has supervised nine master's dissertations and co-supervised one dissertation. He has participated as a researcher in research projects.
