Daniel José Nunes Madureira da Cunha earned his PhD in Nursing Sciences from the University of Porto – Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences, with a dissertation focused on virtual clinical simulation in hospital settings as a pedagogical strategy for continuing nursing education. He holds the title of Specialist in Nursing, a Master’s degree in Nursing, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and is also a Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing.
He previously worked as a nurse at Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Santo António and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Nursing School of Porto. His academic and professional work is situated within the fields of Medical and Health Sciences, with a particular emphasis on Nursing. He has actively contributed to scientific events through oral communications and poster presentations, has received two awards or honors, and is involved as a researcher in three projects.
