Chandler H. Moser, PhD, BSN, RN, CNOR, is an active duty Army Nurse Scientist and Chief of the Center for Nursing Science and Clinical Inquiry at Madigan Army Medical Center, Washington. His doctoral research focused on identifying predictors of tracheostomy-related pressure injuries during the COVID-19 pandemic in a large, globally diverse sample. His research efforts aim to improve the quality of inpatient tracheostomy care and improve outcomes for these critically ill patients. Additionally, his funded research focuses on enhancing the cleanliness of surgical care areas and improving postoperative outcomes in austere military environments. Dr. Moser has a PhD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University.
