Richard Park, MS, BSN, RN, CNOR, is an active duty Army Major and recent graduate from the University of Washington's Master of Health Informatics program. In his capstone project, he examined the comparative performance of machine learning and traditional methods for estimating surgical time. MAJ Park currently serves as the Chief Health Informatics Officer at Darnall Army Medical Center. MAJ Park previously served as a perioperative nurse, with expertise in robotics, urology, and ENT. MAJ Park holds a BA from Rutgers University and a BSN from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
