Jessica Ooms, BSN, RN, CNOR: I am a staff nurse at Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, VA. I have worked in the operating room for over 20 years and love orthopedic surgery. I have become more involved with evidence-based practice and quality improvement projects at work in the past couple of years. I'm excited to share my EBP poster at the national conference and look forward to attending the surgical conference and expo in New Orleans, April 11-14, 2026. I am very active in my local AORN chapter and have held many positions, including committee chair, Board member, Nominating Committee member, and I am currently the president of my chapter. I am proud to be a lifetime AORN member!
