Ben Marthey is a Registered Nurse First Assistant and lead educator in cardiac surgery at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, specailizing in simulation-based traning and perioperative team development. With more than a decade of OR experience spanning ICU nursing, Scrub Tech/ Circulator and RNFA practice, he is known for creating high-impact educational programs, including the RNFA-led Mock Code in Cardiac Surgery Simulation published in the AORN Journal. Ben has presented nationally at AORN and continues to advance innovation in cardiac surgical education. His work focuses on building confident, competent, and emotionally intelligent OR leaders.
