Overview/Abstract: Sterilization and high-level disinfection (HLD) are critical components of infection prevention in healthcare settings. Participants will explore what surveyors look for when evaluating sterilization and HLD practices—from documentation and workflow to equipment maintenance and staff competency. Using real-world examples, and current regulatory standards, we will demystify the expectations behind the “curtain” and empower healthcare professionals to achieve and maintain compliance.
