Perioperative Educator
Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital
Dover, Ohio, United States
I am a dedicated nurse with over 176years of experience, a proud mother of two daughters, and a fiancée. My journey in healthcare began as a Nurse Tech, and after passing my state boards, I launched my nursing career on a Neurosurgical unit. After a year, I transitioned to Labor and Delivery, where I found a deep connection to maternal care.
In 2012, I joined the Maternity Unit at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, serving there for three years before moving into the Operating Room in 2015—an area that had always fascinated me since taking a surgical class during college. That early exposure sparked a lasting interest in perioperative care.
At the end of 2023, I embraced a new role as a Perioperative Educator. This position has allowed me to combine my clinical skills with a passion for mentorship, education, and continuous improvement. I still have the privilege of working in the OR, while also supporting and guiding my colleagues to ensure we deliver safe, high-quality care every day.
