Student Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia, California, United States
My name is Michelle Dukhovny, MSN, RN, and I am a Student Registered Nurse Anesthetist (SRNA) at the Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia and a Doctor of Nursing Practice candidate, with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026. I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and my Master of Science in Nursing Education from Azusa Pacific University. I have four years of combined experience in Surgical, Medical, Neuro, and Trauma Intensive Care Units, where I developed a strong foundation in caring for high-acuity and critically ill patients.
For my doctoral project, my team and I developed an evidence-based educational module for anesthesia providers focused on postoperative unplanned reintubation. This work reflects my commitment to patient safety, perioperative quality improvement, and advancing anesthesia practice through targeted provider education.
