Infection Preventionist/ Director of PeriOperative Services

Lynn Burbank has a vast amount of nursing experience as a pediatric nurse practitioner involved in perioperative care, an educator and as an infection prevention/ regulatory story specialist. A member of the Delaware Valley APIC Chapter education committee Lynn has provided guidance on infection prevention topics for inpatient, ambulatory surgery, and perioperative management. She is also a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of AORN and is co-chair of the Infection Prevention Specialty Assembly.
As the Director of PeriOperative Services Infection Control, Regulatory/Compliance, she has provides expertise on management of surgical patients to reduce risk for infection and integrates principles of national and state regulations on patient care.
Additionally, she is a member of the organization's sustainability committee and works to integrate these principles into practice.
She is passionate about family, gardening, hiking, volunteering in the community and travel.
