Laural A. Farabaugh, MLS, SM(ASCP), CIC, CER is a Certified Infection Preventionist with over 11 years of experience at LifeBridge Health. Laural holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and is board-certified in Medical Laboratory Science, as well as a Specialist in Microbiology and Immunology through the American Society for Clinical Pathology. Before transitioning to Infection Prevention and Control, she spent two decades in Clinical Microbiology and Immunology, bringing a deep understanding of laboratory science to her current role. Her expertise also extends to Sterile Processing, and she is Certified in Endoscope Reprocessing by the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA).
