I career changed to nursing. I was a floor nurse prior to working in perioperative services. I have been a med-surg, cardiac-telemetry, and step-down RN; I have been a travel nurse; I have worked in LTAC; and I have been a clinical instructor with an LPN program. As a perioperative nurse, I scrub, circulate, and precept. I am the current vice president of my local AORN chapter.
