ennifer Federico, BSN, RN, CNOR, has been a cornerstone of the Boston Children’s Hospital team since 2013, where her leadership and dedication have significantly impacted the perioperative department. As a Staff Nurse III in the Main Operating Room, Jennifer excels in providing safe and quality perioperative care while fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. She co-founded the Perioperative Mentorship Program, demonstrating her passion for personal and professional development by mentoring new and experienced nurses. Jennifer’s commitment to excellence is further highlighted by her role in developing and implementing annual competencies for the Main Operating Rooms. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Leadership in Health Care Systems from Grand Canyon University.
