Dr. Sharon Udy-Janczuk brings over 43 years of nursing experience, including 22 years in perioperative care at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware. Her career progression spans roles as staff nurse, Charge Nurse, Service Coordinator, OR Nurse Manager, PACU Nurse Manager, Perioperative Services Director of Nursing, and Clinical Nurse Educator. Recognized as OR Manager of the Year in 2018, she earned a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership and Innovation from Wilmington University in 2020 to strengthen organizational strategies and foster team development. Dr. Udy-Janczuk leads the Nemours Perioperative Nurse Residency program using the AORN Periop 101 curriculum and collaborates with academic partners to introduce undergraduate students to perioperative nursing through the AORN IPN course.
