I am the Director of Perioperative Projects at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, which is a level 1 trauma center and academic teaching hospital. In addition to my local responsibilities. This role is a critical part in driving positive change and advancing the quality of care provided at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. During this time, I have overseen and managed multiple projects that supported perioperative services. These projects are comprised of multidisciplinary teams with a common goal of implementation and patient safety as the foundation of all the work. It is paramount to be able to lead a team to ensure collaboration. As the Innovation and Technology Resource of the Operating Room, my goal is to drive successful outcomes in OR projects by managing resources, mitigating risks, ensuring compliance, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders to enhance patient care delivery and operational efficiency in the surgical environment.
