Carol Pehotsky, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, CPAN, is associate chief nursing officer of surgical, procedural, and dialysis nursing services for Cleveland Clinic health system. In her role, she is responsible for leading the strategic direction of all surgical, procedural, and dialysis nursing services throughout the health system, advising these areas to ensure practice alignment, and providing direct oversight and supervision for several procedural areas, dialysis units, and ambulatory surgical centers. Pehotsky is also the host of Nurse Essentials, a podcast from the Cleveland Clinic Stanley Shalom Zielony Nursing Institute. She has been recognized for her leadership of teams at the highest level of the organization for excellence in innovation and teamwork in standardizing and elevating perioperative nursing practice.
