Dr. Elizabeth Austin Evans DNP, RN, CNOR is an experienced perioperative nurse leader who generously shares her knowledge and resources with others to promote best practice and excellence at the bedside. Her current position is at Children's Health, Dallas as a perioperative Clinical Instructor. She has been a member of AORN since 1999 and a CNOR since 2004. At Expo, she has presented posters and spoken on a variety of relevant topics in a professionally engaging style. She was chair of the AORN Clinical Nurse Educator Specialty Assembly, AORN Journal article reviewer, CCI Volunteer, and president of chapters across the nation, and an active member of the Dallas AORN and North Texas AORN Chapters. She celebrates the knowledge and ingenuity of perioperative nurses in her book, The Nurses' Pocket.
