Sheri has been an ambulatory surgery nurse for over 17 years working at the University of Iowa in the ASC, prior to that she worked in pediatrics in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for 22 years. She went to Kirkwood Community College to receive her RN, then went to Upper Iowa University to receive her BSN.
Sheri holds a certificate in Ambulatory Peri anesthesia Nursing (CAPA) and a lifetime learner. She is involved in many committees and is currently secretary of Iowa Society of Paranesthesia Nurses (ISPAN and the American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses (ASPAN).
