Amanda Lohse has ten years of perioperative experience and serves as the primary Associate Nurse Manager for the Orthopaedic and Burn services for the past three years at Parkland Hospital. Shes oversees case planning, workflow efficiency and interdisciplinary communication. She played a key role in advancing her hospital's orthopaedic program by coordinating the first robotic total joint surgery in Parkland's history, successfully integrating the technology into OR operating and supporting staff proficiency. In addition to managing complex adult orthopaedic procedures, she has trained Charge Nurse's on coordinating care for pediatric orthopaedic trauma patients. This insures safe, streamlined processes for children requiring surgical intervention.
