I am proud graduate of St. Luke’s School of Nursing, class of 1991. I started my nursing career as an acute care nurse on a Medical/Surgical floor at the Palmerton Hospital. In 1993 I transferred to Operating Room Nursing. In 1995 I joined the OR Team at the Allentown Osteopathic Hospital now St. Luke’s Allentown Campus. While continuing my role as an OR nurse I earned my BSN and then MSN in Nursing Education at Cedar Crest College. I transitioned to the Perioperative Educator in 2007. Over the past 17 years I expanded her education career to include Perioperative Services, Endoscopy, Med/surg, Emergency Room and ICU. I am lead instructor for the Perioperative Nurse Internship and a member of the Network Education Leadership Team. In addition to my roles at SLUHN, I am a faculty member at Cedar Crest College, where I teach clinical students in various settings. In her free time I enjoy traveling, spending time with family.
