Heather Larson, is a Registered Nurse, MSN at UW Health's Madison Surgery Center and is the surgery center's Infection Preventionist and Nurse Educator.
Heather enjoys developing practice, working with teams to support innovative change, and continues to work bedside. Nursing Education and high practice standards have been a passionate focus of hers throughout many projects. Heather's span of work includes building acute care teams and nursing curriculum, working on procedural, surgical, and and nursing committees and councils, and serving as an advisor on policy revisions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Heather enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams in continued pursuance and advocacy of excellent patient care.
