He has held roles such as surgical technologist, registered nurse, operations manager, and director of nursing, showcasing excellent organizational and interpersonal skills in fast-paced environments.
Lionel earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of California at San Francisco and holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Health Systems Management. He has extensive clinical leadership experience, currently serving as the Clinical Nursing Director for Perioperative Services at Kaiser Permanente, where he oversees a large team and manages operational and financial responsibilities.
Throughout his career, Lionel has been instrumental in implementing Lean process changes that enhance operational efficiency and improve patient care outcomes.
