Janette Simmons, MBA, BSN, RN, CFPN is a Perioperative Staff Educator passionate about empowering colleagues through competency-based education and advocating for perioperative safety and quality outcomes. She has experience leading multidisciplinary teams to develop education and guidelines focusing on the reduction and prevention of perioperative pressure injuries. She serves as Chair of the Nursing Quality & Safety Council.
