Sterile Processing Clinical Nurse Officer in Charge

MAJ Kyle C. Kinas assumed the role of Clinical Nurse Officer in Charge (CNOIC) for Sterile Processing at Madigan Army Medical Center in July 2023. A native of El Paso, Texas, he embarked on his military nursing career after earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas El Paso in 2011.
His diverse career in the Army Nurse Corps includes critical roles such as Charge Nurse/Board Runner of the Operating Room and 68D Phase II Instructor at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He also served as the Clinical Operations Officer with the 9th Hospital Center at Fort Hood, Texas; he gained valuable perioperative experience as a Staff Nurse and service nurse at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. His foundational experience also includes serving as a staff and charge nurse on the 7E inpatient surgical ward at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. MAJ Kinas has earned his Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) board certification.
