Kayla Baldan is a highly experienced Registered Nurse with over 12 years of clinical expertise, currently working at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Dickson City, PA. She holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and maintains CNOR certification with a sub-certification in Robotics, underscoring her dedication to excellence in perioperative care. Specializing in intraoperative nursing, Kayla has extensive experience across cardiothoracic, vascular, robotic, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures. She also has had extensive leadership experience, holding positions previously as a clinical coordinator and director of surgical services.
Her leadership and clinical skills have earned her the Nurse Excellence Award in Leadership, and she plays an active role in advancing surgical nursing practices as Chair of her unit-based robotics committee. Kayla also takes an active role in the development and education of new team members by serving as a preceptor for her department. She is a proud member of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) and the American Nurses Association (ANA), Kayla is committed to continuous improvement and advocacy within her field.
Outside of work, Kayla is a devoted mother to two boys and two dogs. She enjoys cheering on the Phillies and Penn State football, reading by the beach, and supporting her local community through involvement in youth Little League programs.
