RN Service Line Coordinator- RNFA
City of Hope
Viviana L. Flores RN, CNOR, RNFA at City of Hope
Viviana has been a nurse for 28 years, the last 17, I have been with City of Hope Research and Medical Center. Became an RNFA in 2019 and my career has been growing since then. Allowing me to cover different/multiple roles as Circulating Nurse, Scrub Nurse, First Assistant and Service line coordinator which has gotten me involved in different Research projects, PIPACs being one of them. I love helping my surgeons, co-workers and teaching the new generation of nurses who also show love for our profession. I see myself teaching more in the future. We do a lot of Robotic Surgery at my facility and I find it fascinating how fast and how much technology has been evolving since I became a nurse. I don't do a lot of Social Media, but I am good at answering emails and texts. I am the mother a teenager who teaches me something new on how to handle social media every day. Spending time with my family including my dog and my friends is my favorite hobby. I do believe the best is yet to come and that working hard on your goals pay back when you least expect. That every action we take, is a seed that we plant for the future.
