Mark holds a BSN from Saint Paul University – Iloilo and an MSN from Western Governors University. He is certified in multiple specialties including perioperative nursing, surgical services management, and nursing leadership. A lifetime AORN member, he also belongs to AACN and CANPD. Mark has authored for the AORN Journal, presented at national conferences, and received awards including the 2025 Outstanding VA Poster and Advocate Health’s Stronger Together Team Award. He currently works as a Nursing Professional Development Specialist at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and an OR nurse at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
