Brittany Stombaugh, BSN, RN, is a perioperative nurse leader at Stanford Health Care, where she practices as a resource nurse in a high-volume pre-operative and post-anesthesia care unit. She serves as Secretary for the Committee for Recognition of Nursing Achievement (CRONA) and has contributed as a team member to multiple institution-wide quality improvement initiatives, including two Stanford Recognizing and Implementing Excellence (RITE) projects. Brittany’s work focuses on champion-driven models that support nurses, strengthen systems, and advance perioperative practice through evidence-based care.
