Currently working as an Infection Preventionist at Parkland Health and Hospital System. As an IP she is responsible for the facilities activities aimed at preventing healthcare associated infections by ensuring that sources of infections are isolated to limit the spread of infectious organisms, and is also responsible for monitoring, surveillance, reporting, research, and education.Works with CAUTI/CLABSI Reduction committe and participate in vaccine exemption committe. She earned her Master's of Science in Infection Prevention and Control in 2016 from the American Sentinel University. She also earned her Master's in Sociology and Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.She is a member of APIC ( Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology).She is also certified in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Board certified in Infection Prevention and control.
