Jessica A. Engen, M.S.N., R.N., NPD-BC is a dedicated nursing leader with a strong foundation in perioperative education and professional development. She began her nursing career in 2006 as a Patient Care Assistant. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she joined Mayo Clinic Rochester in 2008 as a Registered Nurse in Pediatric, Oral & Plastic Surgery within the Department of Surgical Services.
Jessica completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Education. She transitioned into the role of Nursing Education Specialist in 2015, supporting Surgical Services. In 2025, Jessica accepted the Nursing Education Manager position supporting the Surgical Services Education Team.
Jessica is certified in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Known for her collaborative leadership and commitment to staff development, her work consistently reflects a passion for advancing nursing practice and fostering professional growth.
